Heal from the things that you cannot speak of
We currently offer groups 2x/month.
During screening, we will determine if you would benefit from additional resourcing skills before processing your main issue. We want you to feel safe enough to come back, heal, and spread the word!
Most people join 1 - 4 sessions. Sessions run for 60 - 90 minutes.
After a group, we can refer you to individual sessions if you need them.
Pay what you can. Donations are appreciated, but not required.
Say less........really.

Testimonials
"I can't talk to my family about how I feel but I can get it out here." - JL
"I'm going to drop my husband off at the next group! He would like not having to talk about his issues." - RB
"Even in a group setting, I was amazed how I was able to utilize EMDR. That is, maintaining my privacy, decreasing my SUD and increasing my VOC. Only if I voluntarily shared, otherwise my processing was kept to myself." - Helon Bolton, LPC (fellow therapist)
"I was able to relax as the treatment went on. I loved the group component but also how individual it was. I was able to release years of traumatic thoughts in a calm way." - Miesha Moore

✅️ I attended one of their initial Caregiver Grief group therapy sessions focusing on BIPOC and military caregivers, which I highly recommend. 💡A provider's lived experience makes all the difference when you need someone who genuinely understands what living in your situation is really like.-Odulia Ashby
I didn't feel pressure to say anything. It felt like I could heal my own way and at my own pace. - Christopher Freeman
As a Navy Veteran, Peer Support Specialist, father, and partner to a woman with her own past traumas I struggle in my own day to day life I felt I was running out of options as far as therapy. With my work i am exposed to other veterans traumatic experiences as I aid their recovery work. This takes a toll on my work and personal life because i can never close my own trauma wounds. This then spills over to my home life and effect those around me that I care about. After attending Dr. Ayana Brown’s group i was able to open a new door in my life and close some of the old ones.
I found the most value in how much individual work I could do, even in a group setting. I came in open-minded but guarded, and I was pleasantly surprised by how rich and insightful the process felt. I also think it’s well suited for communities of color and families because I can process trauma privately without having to talk about it or explain it to anyone. - Donna C.
I joined Dr. Ayana Brown’s group EMDR session and it was amazing. I loved her “speak no trauma, hear no trauma, just get the healing” approach because I could heal without digging back into painful experiences. I’m really grateful and I’d tell anyone to jump at the chance to work with her and grow under her skillful guidance. - John E.
